On the 21st of October 2014, Friends of the British Overseas Territories welcomed new (and old) friends and members to our 'New Members Reception' which also welcomed the Chief Minister of Gibraltar & Gibraltar's UK Representative Albert Poggio to our event.

Around 20-30 people huddled around the Chief Minster who gave a charasmatic speech about Gibraltar, its economy, culture and diplomacy.  Fabian also spoke of how each Oversea Territory has a specialist resource and how they should all work together to increase trade, support and resources.

Mr Picardo was in the UK for Gibraltar Day which celebrates Gibraltar's ties with the City of London. FOTBOT were given exclusive entry to the event.

FOTBOT visited Gibraltar in September 2014 for Gibraltar Day where we worked on government and activist levels to understand how we can help the nation. View our blog about Gibraltar's National Day here.
