Join us for the launch of our 2024/25 fundraising campaign, with guest speakers Sir Robert Buckland MP and Andrew Gwynne MP.

The Overseas Territory of St Helena only has one hospital and one care home, with high pressures on both. As a result, the St Helena Disabled Society are eager to help disabled and elderly people stay in their own homes for as long as possible. So we are delighted to be partnering with them to launch 'No Place Like Home', a project aiming to raise £8,000 towards equipment ranging from wheelchairs to shower stools, to help them with this important work.

St Helena is a beautiful island with some of the friendliest people in the world, but sadly it has a struggling economy and little money available on-island for charitable projects. We are looking forward to doing our bit to help improve the lives of elderly and disabled people on this special island, and we hope you will join us as we launch this campaign at the Walkers of Whitehall pub on Tuesday 23rd April, from 6:30pm.

We will hear from the Rt Hon Sir Robert Buckland KBE KC who, as the MP for South Swindon, represents the largest community of 'Saints' in the UK. And FOTBOT's Parliamentary Advisor Andrew Gwynne MP, who visited St Helena with us last summer, will be able to offer his unique insights as the Shadow Minister for Social Care.
