CAYMAN ISLANDSNEWS FROM FOTBOT
Friends of the British Overseas Territories recently hosted a webinar where Reem interviewed Tara Nielson from the Cayman charity 'Acts of Random Kindness'. Acts of Random Kindness endeavors to be a friend to people in unique circumstances of crisis, demonstrating kindness through loving acts of service. ARK is a friend to strangers, approaching humanity with great love and compassion – without judgment. "Paying it forward" resulted in the nurturing and inspiration of the human spirit, changing lives one at a time.
Attendees also heard from our CEO, Philip Smith, who highlighted his upcoming sponsored walk to raise funds for our 'No Place Like Home' project, which supports efforts to allow patients to stay in their homes for as long as possible in St Helena. We hope it was an interesting 1-hour discussion with opportunities for questions directed to any of our speakers.
