The Falkland Islands held their general election on 11 December 2025 to elect the eight Members of the Legislative Assembly: five representing the Stanley constituency and three representing the Camp constituency. Members are elected by universal suffrage using a block voting system. The election was overseen by the Chief Executive, Andrea Patricia Clausen, acting as Returning Officer.
This was the fifth general election held under the current constitution, which replaced the Legislative Council in 2009. Under the Constitution, the Legislative Assembly must be dissolved four years after its first sitting following the previous election. The outgoing Assembly first met on 8 November 2021, requiring dissolution by 7 November 2025. Elections must then be held within 70 days. On 7 August 2025, the Executive Council announced an early dissolution, setting polling day for 11 December 2025.
